About Ashly

Sink your feet in the sand, take in the salt air, and walk with Crutchprints!

My name is Ashly Ash and I am the author and creator of Crutchprints in the Sand.  I hope you will kick back with me here and enjoy some of the articles I’ve posted. You will find love, laughter, humor, and hardship in these pages but most importantly I hope you find encouragement.

I strive to live the dream instilled in me by my parents at a young age: A full life despite disability. I am an amputee and 30+ year cancer survivor. My husband, Rick and I own a small cottage that we care for with love and kindness in rural Pennsylvania. Currently I attend school, volunteer as an administrative assistant, and serve as a board member for Discovering MErcy.  Family, both immediate and extended, are very important to me and fill my heart and time. You will learn a lot more as we walk together on the sand of this blog, and I hope to learn about you in the comments! If you have specific questions please leave them in the comments or contact me via email.
