About Ashly

Sink your feet in the sand, take in the salt air, and walk with Crutchprints!

My name is Ashly Ash and I am the author and creator of Crutchprints in the Sand.  I hope you will kick back with me here and enjoy some of the articles I’ve posted here. You will find love, laughter, humor, and hardship in these pages but most importantly I hope you find encouragement.

Dreaming of fullness in life despite disability, I am an amputee and 30 year cancer survivor. My husband, Rick and I have a small cottage that we care for with love and kindness. Currently I am pursuing a degree full time, volunteer as an administrative assistant, and serve as a board member for Discovering MErcy.  Family, both immediate and extended, is very important to me and they fill my heart and time each day. You will learn a lot more about me in the pages of this blog and if you have specific questions or comments I hope you feel free to leave them in the comments.
